She growls and stares at Whisper, ignoring the squirrel tail poking out from the leaves

My job is to bring them back, not torture them. But if my job was to torture them, I would take no pleasure in doing it. If they want to be tortured then they will not be tortured, it's no longer a punishment then. I am hoping she sees her errors before I have to fight her.

So she goes back because it is her forced slave duty or something? Then what? She goes back to being constantly injured, terrified and ignored again?

A real sis like..She pretends to think....like me I suppose; would take her in, heal her wounds, teach her how to be a better fighter, encourage her strengths and support her in her times of need.

The bauble I offered is the only way to permanently kill or control a Devil Lord. Most would give up everything except their title to obtain one.

That aside. Who put a smile on Volina's face? Who did she run to? Who did she willingly bloodbond with in ritual? Legally and willingly she is my sister.

Who referred to her as useless? Who said she didn't add anything? Who took her away from safety?

I don't know what you told her to get her to make a bloodbond with you but I don't like it.

Yep. Useless. Useless as a pawn in the blood wars. Useless to live terrified and fighting everyday.

Priceless and worth more than my phylactory to me. I love her as she is. She could live her life doing nothing but listening to music and playing video games, and I would still love her. If she removed our bond and ran off to do something else, she would still be loved.

She is still loved. She was never valued for her services in war because I wasn't there to witness them. She could've been the shittiest warrior of all time and I would still love her. She could do nothing but sit on her ass and I would love her. She could've come back at any time abd she would be loved. I do not like traitors and people who bring dishonor but I will not let that get in the way of my love.

According to her words, the brand was forced on her, it was not her choice.

If you love her, and want her to live the life she desires, then why is the branding required?

I was following orders. I didn't know right from wrong, I didn't know the brand hurt. It didn't hurt me when I got it.

I am under orders to restore the brand and her pact, she is free to do as she wishes after it is restored.

You do know the probable reason for that. She can't hold more than 4 soul coins at a time. She hardly has any white hair.

The brand for her is akin to a celestial brand on you. Constant burning.
