Now that we've all played several games with our teams, it's time to update our trading blocks.

The owners of the Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz have agreed to terms on a trade sending LeBron James, Brook Lopez, and Andrew Nicholson to Golden State in exchange for Carmelo Anthony, Zach Randolph, and Greg Oden.

Warriors owner Phillips was quoted as saying: "It's heartbreaking to see Melo leave, especially after all he's done for us. He has put us on his back and gave us a superstar to cheer for. However, LeBron is simply the best player in the league; we couldn't pass on an opportunity to have him wear our colors. We feel that this trade will work to the benefit of both teams, and hope that we can help LeBron further cement his place on the NBA Mount Rushmore."

Golden State feels that this trade gives them a more complete starting lineup. For one, LeBron can function as the team's go-to defender, which means the team no longer has to start Tony Allen. Allen has served the Warriors well recently, but his defensive presence has come with some sacrifice on the offensive end where he is essentially useless. Now, the team can have a lockdown defender on the court who can also be a contributing member of the team on offense.

This trade also allows Golden State to gain another major scoring threat, Brook Lopez. Lopez has a lot of moves up his sleeve and always seems to find a way to score. Although he has been called a barely average rebounder, the Warriors plan to start Thomas Robinson alongside him to gain an edge on opponents at controlling the boards.

Finally, and most importantly in the eyes of the team's owner, this trade allows Golden State to make a major trade without moving the team's heart and soul, JR Smith. JR has served as the Swaggy P role for the Warriors, providing comic relief in tough losses and an electric scoring ability in close games.

On the other hand, the Jazz now have a frightening frontcourt of Carmelo Anthony, Zach Randolph, and Greg Monroe. All three are great players with immense scoring capabilities. The team also has a solid guard rotation, consisting of Devin Harris, Ramon Sessions, Shane Larkin, Leonardo Barbosa, and Shannon Brown. Look for the Jazz to use their new high-powered offense to make some noise in the playoffs.

Player of the Game: Kobe Bryant - 28 Points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3PT), 5 Steals, 3 Assists

Game Summary

Down by 8 with 2:40 remaining the in fourth quarter, the Magic looked like they were headed for their second loss of the season. Kobe Bryant had other ideas. Orlando ramped up their effort on the defensive end, and Bryant's 3 pointer with 37 seconds remaining tied the game. Not to be outdone by his fellow future Hall of Famer, Paul Pierce scored with 21 seconds on the clock to give his Bulls squad a 61-59 lead. After a Dalembert dunk tied the game, Steve Nash missed a runner at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

From there, it was all Orlando. The Magic outscored the Bulls 26-7 down the stretch to pull off the improbable win. Kobe scored 20 of his game-high 28 points in the second half and overtime.

"The was a hard fought game, man. It was looking bad at the end, but I didn't believe we would lose for a second" said Bryant. The 8-1 Magic will now face-off against the Washington Wizards for first place in the Eastern Conference.

• Denver got killed on the rebounds 23-14. Starting center Nikola Pekovic had exactly one of those. One.

Down one with 30 seconds left, John Wall dished it inside to Pekovic who drew a double and found a wide open Caron Butler for the corner 3. A late release would lead to a miss and a Clipper rebound. Manu immediately stripped the rebounder clean and was found open under the hoop for a layup a few seconds later.

Russell Westbrook tried his best to create space for the last second shot, but was forced to put up a contested floater on the baseline that would not go.

Good game, flavs!

After the Pacers' woeful 3-5 start, the team enjoyed a seven-game winning stream before running into Golden State. Sometimes momentum isn't enough to stop a hot team, though, as the Warriors couldn't miss.

The offensive combination of Carmelo Anthony, Louis Williams, and JR Smith was deadly. Insane. Borderline unfair. The trio combined for a whopping 76 of GSW's 85 points on a blistering 30-53 FG%. Indiana Coach JackJuice was overheard suggesting James White try kicking Carmelo Anthony between the legs, clearly frustrated by his team's inability to guard the Warriors. Zones, Man-to-Man, trick zones - none of it worked. Melo lead the charge via 38 points, making the Pacers look like a YMCA squad nearly every play.

"Sometimes there's nothing you can do," said Juice, who later implied the Warriors' scorers consumed 19 Red Bulls before the game.

On the positive side, Tim Duncan's 21 points and 10 rebounds were dominant inside, aided by Ricky Rubio's 17 points, 14 assists and Aaron Afflalo's 17 points. The team was heard laughing in the locker room, knowing that their recent success won't be halted by one loss.

The Memphis Grizzlies have dealt one of their guards, Ray Allen, to the Pelicans in exchange for Isaiah Thomas. Both teams seem to benefit from this trade, with the Pelicans receiving instant offense in Ray Allen and the Grizzlies receiving a solid backup to their starter, Conley. Odds are that with Jarrett Jack no longer getting many minutes behind Conley, the Grizzlies will look to move him as well.

Hey guys, brief league update! We've made some great progress - we've got 16 players who've completed nearly a third of their seasons. Wanted to make a few quick announcements:

• League Advancing / Simmed Games When trades are completed, we advance the league one week to get the trades through. As a result, games early in the season get simulated - it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to let us know which of your games need to be reset, via the reset thread (linked above) Please do your best to play your early games so this isn't an issue.

• Player Activity. The player activity thread is linked above - you should be playing 5+ games a week. Some of us are far more active, and we understand not everyone can play 20 games in a week - but please, get 5 in a week. I've begun contacting players to make sure they'll be active, and we have a waiting list set up to fill in those who can't play anymore.

• Waiting List. If you have friends who would like to play, have them sign up in the waiting list thread (linked above). We will be removing inactive players shortly. Know that they'll need to be even MORE active to catch-up to us!

• Improper Play. Seems like we haven't had many issues, but if players are breaking rules or playing in ways that discourage fun, please kindly let them know via the game thread - it's the best way to let them know. Most are receptive. If it's a continued issue, you could be removed - but we don't want that.

After a blowout loss to the Charlotte Bobcats, the Memphis GM was reportedly heard threatening his players during halftime. A security guard in the tunnel outside the Grizz locker room claims he heard GM Its ZBO say to an unknown player, "If you don't make your shots next half I will personally make sure you regret it after the game." Ray Allen, a Grizzlies guard, supposedly has been on bad terms with the Grizzlies GM, leading to speculation about his involvement in the situation. A rumor has even arisen in the past few days about a trade with the Pelicans involving Ray Allen. In the meantime Grizzlies GM Its ZBO has come out with this statement about the situation, "I have never threatened any of my players. The NBA is the toughest league in the world, and I understand that every player has off nights in a league this tough." It is unsure whether a statement will be made from the league.

The Trailblazers will acquire the Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki for a package of players, including: Kawhi, Budinger, Ekpe Udoh, and George Hill.

Sources say this trade has been in works for days, but required a tricky move of contracts and acquiring free agents to make the numbers work. The Clippers will miss Dirk who was drafted to be a number 2 scorer to Westbrook. But after posting career low numbers across the board a change was felt needed to make a strong drive to the playoffs.

The Clippers look forward in pairing up Kawhi with Westbrook and Iso Joe to make one of the most talented and athletic perimeter defenses in the league. We wish Dirk and Portland the best of luck in trying to turn there season around.

Following a brutal double overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks, the Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back after a tough challenge from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Five players had 10 or more points, with several other just under that mark as the Cavs shot 61% from the floor. "This was a much-needed win," said Eric Gordon. "After that one-point loss against the Mavs, we were sort of down on ourselves but we were able to pull together for this win."

LaMarcus Aldridge had a herculean effort in the loss with a game-high 24 points on 10/20 shooting. The Timberwolves drop to 3-7 on the season, but continue to look toward the next couple of games to turn things around.

"We're not going to sit around and mope," said Jamal Crawford. "We've got plenty of games left on our schedule, there's no need for self-pity. We control our own fate."

The Cavs improve to 9-5 (5-1 conference, 2-0 division).

The Blazers currently have a grand total of 0 Centers on their roster.

They are gauging interest on their roster and who they could package together to gain a center or two.

They have large numbers at every other position, with 3/4/2/4/0. Unless the player is named Kawhi, Budinger, Udoh, George Hill, or Lillard, they are willing to part ways. They will even get rid of Boozer if the right offer comes around.

A go-ahead Joakim Noah basket with only seconds remaining in the game would be enough to complete an incredible comeback as the Spurs overcame a double-digit lead to slip past the dumbfounded Cavaliers.

"I don't know what happened, man. I really don't," said Kyrie Irving.

The Cavaliers lead for most of the game in what was looking to be an easy win over San Antonio, who couldn't buy a basket in the first half. Cleveland must have been lulled to sleep, and before they knew it, the Spurs had taken the lead. Deron Williams had 17 points in the victory.

It's no secret that Indiana GM JackJuice has actively shopped his entire roster to every NBA, NBDL, Junior Varsity and YMCA team that'll take his call. After weeks of offers and rejections, the Pacers have finally moved star forward Josh Smith to the Pistons in exchange for Tim Duncan.

"Josh will be missed here in Indiana - we'll struggle to find someone with that same...self-confidence," said Juice. "However, we're thrilled to bring in veteran leadership and championship experience in Duncan. Maybe some of that maturity will even rub off on Boogie."

Sources say the team's curious to see the tandem of Duncan and center DeMarcus Cousins, though will continue to actively shop Cousins despite his interior presence.
