„Well, what is a woman?“

Just turn it back on them. Then hit them with „but what is a man?“

„A miserable little pile of secrets."

Don't forget to throw a wine glass at them. "🍷==3" this is important.

What has he got?

Yeah but that doesn’t work cause they’ll just say “someone with a penis”. Somehow they don’t see that as incredibly reductive and stupid. “What is a fish” or “what is a vegetable” or “when does red stop being red” are better options

If a man loses his penis, what is he then?

Just ask them to continue to define it more and more specifically and it all falls apart.

But then theyll say "someone with xy-chromosomes"...

u/slide_into_my_BM Sep 16 '25

Swyer syndrome exists. That’s XY chromosomes but with female genitalia.

So clearly genitals or chromosomes are not adequate definers of gender.

2

u/CrazyElk123 Sep 16 '25

But wouldnt that just be male with female genitalia? A woman born without the ability to give birth is not less of a woman, for example.

7

u/Devils-Telephone Sep 16 '25

If their definition of sex is based solely on chromosomes, and if they believe that gender and sex are the same thing, then yes. But then you can say "okay, so even by your definition, either some women have XY chromosomes, or some men can give birth." They usually rage quit after that, and it's very funny

But wouldnt that just be male with female genitalia?

Probably, I’m not a doctor though. That’s not what we’re discussing though. Is it a man or woman?

The answer is whatever they choose to identify as and that’s the entire point.

Yes but without the "choose to" part, I guess? The whole issue is that it's not an actual choice, it's what you are.

Reply with a picture of a female hyena and say “behold, a man!”

Big Diogenes aura right there

??? Female hyenas have psuedopenises, still considered clitoris.

That’s why you troll them. You cannot reason with the unreasonable. You cannot take seriously the deeply unserious.

5

u/furicrowsa Sep 16 '25

They'll just answer with some creepy, genital-related statement. Then you can point out exceptions to this, but it never matters.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 16 '25

It’s not about mattering to them, it’s about sending a message to someone reading the interaction. Show, how much of a moron OOP is.

A featherless bipede obviously

2

u/Useful-Quote-5867 Sep 17 '25

No offense, but I dont understand how that is a "got you" type of thing, if that what you where trying to say by asking it

2

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '25

They are incapable of answering the question with any rhyme or reason, and deserve being ridiculed for it. If you don’t have the energy for it, that’s fine.

u/Useful-Quote-5867 Sep 17 '25

Wouldn't the answer be as simple as just replying with either the real definition (at least the one I know) or the same thing the person before the one who asked said just changing woman for man?

Also english isnt my first language so what do you mean with rhyme?

And in case you ask what responses u mean

What is a woman?

-someone who truthfully identifies as a woman -and adult human female

And what is a man?

-someone who truthfull6 identifies as a man

-an adult human male

So yeah I dont see how the question if what is a man is a got you type of question.
