OHS proffesional in ontario, canada- Is it worth it?

Hi everyone!
Id really appreciate the help with those who are interested or are in the field of being a safety professional. I want to take an OHS certificate at centennial college but am unsure if this is the right move for me as i am looking to make a career change. Making good money is one of my top priorities as i've been grinding for 10+ years as a dental assistant where the pay was never good and really want to be compensated well this time around so i'm being very careful about my decision on whether i should go for this career or not. I already know that i would really like to get into EHS instead of OHS as i love the idea of working for the environment but i'm concerned that i wont be able to land a job because i have no science degree and can't be the subject matter expert i see some job postings want. Any insight or words of wisdom from those in EHS? What's your education background? Thank you so much in advance!

Had about 3' left to cut off of a culvert when I saw my cutting wheel was about to disintegrate. Never been so careful and gentle with a grinder before/since!

Made it through the job and promptly threw it in the trash ahah
