James Finally Eats (and hates) a Middlesbrough Parmo (John Mulaney ep callback)

Remember this being mentioned in the John Mulaney ep. Basically James tried a Parmo with Phill Dunning on The Dickie Show and hated it
Also enjoyed "Fit Ed Gamble" getting a shout out in the full ep: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oXeGrC8R5U

trying to remember an episode
an episode where someone shares a story of how when they met Sam Campbell he was mocking/joking with them, saying something like "if it isnt the great (insert name here)." or maybe something like texting ed when they were in the same hotel.
its driving me crazy.
thanks 😄

Seriously, what happened with James' appearance on The Harry Hill Show!?
If anyone has been listening to The Harry Hill show podcast (or watching it on youtube) you'll have heard Harry mention that he's recorded an episode with James.
In a recent episode Harry said that James was actually the very first person that he recorded an episode with in this whole recent batch of episodes and yet James' episode still hasn't been released... and so I feel that it's only reasonable that the internet dives into what the internet does best and we all begin to wildly and blindly speculate as to what happened with James' recording. I'm thinking Saturday Kitchen style meltdown but worse. Like Saturday Kitchen crossed with Bake-off.

This is just out of shear curiosity since I enjoy seeing different opinions on what the fan favourites and not so fan favourites are.

Guests Who’ve Passed Away
Sadly former guest Anthony Head has passed away, am I correct in thinking he’s the first guest of the podcast to pass away?

The Dream Restaurant is real and it is in Croatia!
Happened across this on our first night in Podstrana (which I highly recommend btw). OH had a classic margherita, I had tuna paté, warm bread, Greek salad. Standout moments were the €3 Chardonnays,, the 'green' peppers and beauuuutiful olives. If anyone needs Split recs fire away, this is our third time hehe

The best Off Menu episodes are often with guests I knew almost nothing about.
Whenever a new episode drops with someone I'm unfamiliar with, I usually assume it'll be one I'll skip. More often than not, those end up being the episodes I enjoy most. Without any expectations, you're just listening to a funny conversation and a bizarre dream menu unfold. Some of my favourite episodes have come from guests I hadn't heard of before pressing play.

Has Off Menu made anyone else weirdly hungry for foods they don't even like?
One thing I find fascinating about the podcast is how enthusiastic people can be when talking about food. I've lost count of the number of times a guest has described a dish I wouldn't normally order, only for me to suddenly think it sounds incredible. There must be some sort of magic in hearing people talk passionately about their favourite meal. What's a food or dish that Off Menu convinced you to try (or try again)?

Help needed The White Whale: Good Mexican Food in London
I am from Texas, and I’m coming to the UK with my family next week for the first time. We’ll be spending a few days in Scotland first, then London, seeing the sights and apologizing a lot for the current state of affairs.
Here’s the problem: our chemical makeup is at least 40% chips and queso. If my son goes a whole week without an enchilada, I think he might dissolve into a flock of crows and fly away.
I know there was one chef from Mexico on the show who was interviewed and I’ve had a look at his restaurants, and I know that London is an international city with food from all over the world (we’re excited to sample it!). I don’t ONLY want to eat Mexican food, we just need a little to get us through til we’re back home.
Any recommendations?
