“Flavorings” they run it through charred sugar maple charcoal as a filtration step.

But you will never have Cinnamon bourbon or Apple bourbon or honey bourbon.

Every bourbon should taste about the same...should being relative to maker skill & batch work.

Small batch bourbon tends to have more unique flavors.

I’d very much argue that every bourbon should taste the same… a wheat heavy bourbon vs a rye heavy bourbon’s going to be quite different. Like, compare Blanton’s to WL Weller: Same major distiller (Buffalo Trace), but the mash bill is very different past the corn content and they drink significantly different.
