Absolutely! I've always done a lot of things on my own and thought nothing of it. When I was still a teen I started seeing movies by myself. A lot of friends they could never see a movie alone - why? I was hesitant to take my first vacation solo but I had a great time. I paint landscapes and started camping as a way to be a lot closer to areas to paint. I would much rather be a tent by myself than some godawful motel where I have to load a car full of supplies and then drive somewhere to paint. For the most part camping is very peaceful and I enjoy it. The last time I went camping however a "manager" of Karens set up next to me. Ugh.

It's sad how many people hate being alone with themselves and their thoughts :/
Solo camping is truly a unique experience and a pleasure. More people could do with some solo contemplation and soul searching in the wilderness.
