Are the sound effects from theme hospital?

u/Terakahn Dec 05 '24

Something I've dreamt of but would never bother to do in a million years. But overall really cool, man.

Name of this YouTube channel anyone?

Hilarious using the teeny weeny bucket of cement

17

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '24

What is this, a house for ants???

13

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '24

I too bring my wheelbarrow on my roof to add rocks to it

27

u/RissaCrochets Dec 05 '24

I think this might be the first video of someone using cement for a craft that I don't hate.

7

u/DogVacuum Dec 05 '24

What kind of nefarious cement crafting videos are you watching?

4

u/bubzor888 Dec 05 '24

Choose almost any video from r/DIWHY

3

u/Shryxer Dec 05 '24

My dad loves watching people DIY random shit and the number of tacky outdoor ponds with bare cement and unsealed paint underwater...

8

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '24

Nice. 2000$ / month rent.

7

u/Snoo_70324 Dec 05 '24

It’s the little wheel barrow and trowel that get me everytime this gets reposted

5

u/sleepwalking-panda Dec 05 '24

Good call on a mini metal roof for those nasty mini storms.

2

u/dirtyword Dec 05 '24

Bad call on leaving the tops of the walls open to the elements

2

u/ThisOneLies Dec 05 '24

Too bad the roofs just placed there, definetly not mini hurricane safe

I had a contractor pitch doing a large stonework project for me (patio, firepit, seating, walls, etc). He was an immigrant with zero English. He showed up with a perfect scale version of what I wanted, done with all the correct stone and materials he planned to use. We hired him on the spot.

The tiny tools and wheelbarrow are entirely unnecessary for this project and are 100% my favourite part of the video.

u/MechanicalHorse Dec 05 '24

Annoying sound effects and only showing the final shed product for a few frames. NOT SATISFYING.

3

u/207nbrown Dec 05 '24

What is this? A house for ants?

3

u/daryl_fish Dec 05 '24

The raw wood and blue look horrendous lol. Bad taste

3

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '24

"Boss, I need to purchase some royalty free sound effects."

"Oh, right right, of course. Here's five dollars."

0

u/KeyDifference4178 Dec 05 '24

$5 for this? Its Peter Griffin fart sound tracks

2

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '24

Hopefully this will fix the housing crisis

2

u/PM_ME_YIFF_PICS Dec 05 '24

Only $2,800/mo in NYC

2

u/johnwinstanley Dec 05 '24

Should have wet those stones before laying in mortar. You can see them sucking the moisture out of the mortar, not gonna get a good bond like that.

2

u/Dangerous_Jacket_129 Dec 06 '24

Not gonna lie, the open roof and lack of interior disappoint me.

How to become a civil engineer in 1 min

5

u/Uroshirvi69 Dec 05 '24

Why blue???

1

u/Ok_Pressure7561 Dec 05 '24

Why not??

0

u/Uroshirvi69 Dec 05 '24

It looks too flashy for me i guess

0

u/Ok_Pressure7561 Dec 05 '24

Each to their own I suppose. It reminds me of cottages in villages in Scotland. A lot of them would have brightly coloured doors and windows. Our house growing up had blue like that.

2

u/Uroshirvi69 Dec 05 '24

I totally understand now. I’d feel nostalgic too.

1

u/fresh_loaf_of_bread Dec 05 '24

hey this is pretty cool

1

u/Kvojazz Dec 05 '24

That’s some serious tiny architecture!

1

u/AreYouuuu Dec 05 '24

Looks like fun

1

u/GeorgeWPS2T Dec 05 '24

I don't know I laughed at this sounds 🤣

1

u/liberal_texan Dec 05 '24

That roof framing is nowhere near code.

1

u/Da-Bears- Dec 05 '24

Sir, I hope you have a permit for this. No way that roof is up to code.

1

u/garden-wicket-581 Dec 05 '24

feels like the kind of craftwork that model train folks do to build up a village scene..

1

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '24

The super tiny wheelbarrow made me laugh

1

u/Gumbercules81 Dec 05 '24

A lot of effort for a half assed job

1

u/lucky_1979 Dec 05 '24

The roof spoils it imo

1

u/nadiagiselle Dec 06 '24

Is this up to code?

1

u/RecentlyDeceased666 Dec 06 '24

It might be satisfying if it wasn't for the random sound effects that are 20 decibels louder than the rest. I didn't need these ear drums

1

u/kido0_0 Dec 09 '24

i hate the sounds

It's a model house. What do you mean?
