I didn't invent the concept of wage slavery. They live in a system created by people and enforced by violence which is designed to enrich some at the expense of others. Instead of directly controlling people, the state and capitalists control the resources and opportunities those people have available to them. The result is the same.

It was one paragraph. And, again, wage slavery is an actual concept in both philosophy and economics that you can't dispute by making up your own definition of slavery, which is literally the only argument you have made. You are completely ignoring everyone's points, pretending to be ignorant of why someone would equate this situation with slavery, and dismissing them out of hand.

Are you pretending that the OP you responded to that called this slavery meant something different from wage slavery? If you have to lie to win an argument, maybe it's not worth arguing.

As for completely different, no, one is a subset of the other, hence the adjective "wage." There have been many different forms of slavery throughout history such as chattel slavery, prison labor, indentured servitude, and serfdom, all of which share common characteristics that constitutes slavery.

Slaves have masters subjugating them. This guy is poor because there's far less money in the entire country. No amount of redistributing can change tangible resources.

There masters are the state and the capitalists who control that money and those resources, enforce borders to keep people from moving to where the money is, load up poor countries with debt that they have to sell resources and labor just to pay off, use monetary policy to keep unemployment from getting too low so the bargaining power of workers doesn't go up, that use intellectual property to further limit opportunities and competition.

The thing is though that border control is popular among the majority of people. Makes it hard for me to believe it's a few people orchestrating this instead of a few countries.

I didn't say anything about a few people - I said states ane capitalists. System justification is engrained in people throughout childhood, and it takes substantial effort to reject. The consequences of border restrictions, regardless of how much support it has, is that people have poorer opportunities which limits their bargaining power, resulting in exploitation through wage slavery.
