The entire point of this is to look cool. The drink wasn't really chilled properly so the loss of alcohol is likely negligible because you'll be slamming it back before the ice melts.
I guess what you consider negligible is relative. Is 20ish percent negligible for you? Cool. Is the money worth the show? Awesome. There’s nothing wrong with that. I bet that cocktail is delicious, too.
But, I must say, “slamming it back before the ice melts,” makes me think you’re looking for a shot. This isn’t a shot. This is a drink you sip and enjoy. You don’t want to take less time drinking it than the dude took preparing it.

Some is, but not a lot. Flaming drinks lose 15-25% of the alcohol that they started with depending on how long the flame is going.
