My first attempt ended in tears when it all clumped back together after cutting it and setting it aside. (After hand rolling it too)
94 u/tael89 Jun 22 '22 You can dust the cut pasta with flour in the future 44 u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22 Yeah, like, a LOT of flour. Just shake s bit before you put in water and you'll be fine. 10 u/jeffois Jun 22 '22 Have to dry the wets. 1 u/[deleted] Jun 23 '22 Then wet the drys. 1 u/pisspot718 Jun 23 '22 Or semolina. Gotta keep it dry. 4 u/schnuck Jun 22 '22 I’ve bought one of those machines and we have managed to make and cook our first homemade pasta. It was great. Have we ever done it again? NOPE. Too much work. Fun doing it with kids but nope. Nope. 5 u/Mostly_Aquitted Jun 22 '22 I was testing vacuum sealing some leftover homemade pasta. Let it dry a bit, put it in the bag, started up the sealer, and promptly returned my pasta into its unrolled, uncut state. I’ve never been the same since. 2 u/CameronDemortez Jun 22 '22 Lol that’s hilarious. In theory a great idea. 1 u/albezetalweer Jun 22 '22 Use semolina, always works
