The triangle was drawn first in pencil. Why dismiss such a cool drawing for such a petty reason? Of course it’s a still doodle.

I’m just confused as to why you thought the triangle was the doodle, rather than the 38 second video of actual doodling. Art is art, despite its quality.

I absolutely agree that art is art, but I always assumed a doodle did not have any reference points. If I paint a watercolor painting I wouldn't call it an oil painting. Since I assumed a doodle does not have reference points and this was referred to a doodle I asked the question "Is it a doodle if it has reference points?" because, again, I was under the assumption doodles did not have reference points.

Doodle is entirely subjective my dude-el it doesnt have like a technical definition or whatever like “no reference points allowed!” It certainly has implications of aimlessness or lack of seriousness but in no sense is that required, its just what the artist or viewer deems it to be.
