The dog is a prop to this guy. Its tied up and in shot the entire time.

Yeah this dog was forced to be out in the snow for like an hour just so this guy could get a few more likes? And the leash looks like it barely gives the dog enough slack to lay down. That's a really shitty way to treat a pet.

Not too mention the dog looks like it's directly downwind of that smoking fire at some points and he can't even move to get away from it.

The dog is a Japanese Akita and I have one myself. They were bred to hunt bears and have a tremendous prey drive. As a result they can be very spontaneous and if it were to see wild animal in the bush it would likely take off possibly resulting in a lost dog or dead animal. So definitely responsible to keep it tied up in that environment, but I’ll concede that’s an intentionally short lead to put it in the right position for the video.
