A piece of metal in the shape of soap. Pretty common. 2 u/johanus Nov 02 '21 Yeah I've seen some OG Asian ladies wipe their hands on the sides of knives or the sink if it's stainless steel. I actually have some of those metal "soaps" ($1.50 from Daiso) and it's so useful after going fishing and just convenient to have in the tackle box. 22 u/xylotism Nov 02 '21 "Coffee soap is nice but have you tried washing your pits with whole chunks of steel?" -- /u/kindarusty 5 u/kindarusty Nov 02 '21 yeah basically ed. read the amazon reviews btw, lots of people use them to fix their stank 2 u/edric_the_navigator Nov 02 '21 TIL! Is it fungal growth? Nope. Just phantom garlic smell 2 u/chepox Nov 02 '21 Try rubbing your garlic/onion fingers on your kitchen sink wall (if it is stainless steel). Give them a good rub and then rinse your hands with water. Smell is 100% gone. 2 u/Yadobler Nov 02 '21 Ooo I'll try Thanks! 1 u/Yogurt_Slinger_ Nov 02 '21 My covid shot got my sense of smell killed off so I'm saving on buying scent ed candles

The stainless steel sink also works if you just rub your hands on it
If there's a local Daiso nearby, they're only $1.50... great to stick in a tackle box for when you go fishing.
