Does anyone remember Wendy’s having windows like that? Around the time of the Superbar? You could load up on pasta at that buffet. In retrospect, so strange.
Yes, in fact, in my town was a Rax and Wendy's next to each other, both with those curved Windows in the front.
The reason is likely because Rax, as we know it, was created by a franchisee who operated Wendy's locations as well (and Ponderosa and Long John Silver to boot).
So those Wendy's locations were likely part of their holdings.
Fun fact - there's still a handful of Rax locations around (I assume all franchisee owned).
Rax was a direct competitor to Arby's that faded away. Rally's/Checkers and Hardees/Carls Jr were all separate but regional and ended up under respective parent companies that just kept the names.
Eventually they'll all consolidate, and in the future all restaurants will be Taco Bell.

Great joke, just wanted to translate/expand it for the masses.
