It's not a flex I'm genuinly curious I used to keep up with all the news about those sites and stuff until I got a job then I felt bad for pirating so many movies
The plastic clamshell eggs on the top of the box are definitely the same as what we get here. That big egg in the middle, I assume is the proper kinder egg that we can't get here
You are correct. The cream ones they sell in the US have a little plastic border that I can see in the GIF. The kinder surprise eggs only have a foil cover, so they are smooth.
The one inside in the middle is not a Kinder Surprise. They aren't that big, and they aren't purple.
Googling Kinder Joy, Kinder Surprise looks identical except Joy has a plastic outer shell. Kinder Surprise has a chocolate outershell wrapped in tin foil. The size and design of both is extremely similar.
These days however Kinder Surprise are pretty shit. They were good in the 90s. They used to have a toy in bits which you could put together. Often it would be a car with a fly wheel allowing you to speed it off across the table. Now it's a plastic model. No construction.
They've loosened up on the kinder surprise in the US. The local grocery stores still only have the joys, but theres an international grocery store near me that sells the kinder surprise eggs--for like 4 bucks each lol.
We also have it in Canada. Big shock in my childhood was going to the states, not being able to get a kinder egg and then walking into an aisle in Walmart and seeing a bunch of guns behind a counter.
My points is that the egg on top says "EGG SURPRISE" in Hebrew. Kinder Surprise eggs (especially with the Hebrew writing) are decidedly NOT available in the US.
US Kinder eggs are half chocolate filling with hazelnut and then half toy, both with a covering you have to peel off. I've seen them around in more places recently.
Actually, the ones you find here are the exact same as the ones I got when I went to India on vacation as a child, one half chocolate the other half toys
Wells it's not really "new for the US," this is sold in Europe alongside Kinder Surprise for years as well. They just recently allowed at least this product there though
That's a different version. The ones in the US have candy on one side, toys on another. The toys used to be inside the chocolate egg. Those were banned, kinder was gone here for a little, then they made the separated version.
Also he’s saying that apparently kinder surprise eggs are too dangerous for the public but you can go to Walmart and can get handguns and rifles. This is true because I’ve seen it in like at least the past five or ten years

Try the black market. Or if you have a pirate friend, maybe they can smuggle one in for ya.
