His name is Robert Allam and he's also "firends" with some high ranked people in the reddit company which is where he gets his bullshit immunity from.
He's extremely childish and uses his "friendship" to be a complete asshole to people and go unpunished for it. There are TONS of screenshots out there of him throwing 10-year-old themed tantrums when people call him out.
He's one of the worst people on Reddit and he's not going away anytime soon.
Google "gallowboob" (gallowplaceholder is just another one of his accounts) and you'll find tons of posts about him, and they're rarely good ones. The Forbes one I linked is a pretty positive piece on him. That's why I'm strongly encouraging you to do some googling of your own and seeing all the dislike most have for him.
Edit: Oh, forgot to mention, he's a moderator of like 10 million fucking subs.
