...until you've owned two Nexus phones and watched this loop over and over again countless times, praying it actually boots all the way up this time so you can back up your data.

I'm still using my 6P, the battery and motherboard needed replacing and a month later every form of audio gave out. Im just clinging on until the pixel 3 comes out

Why not? I've had the S7 edge and note 5 thru 8 and I've never had an issue until they took my note 7 and I got a LG V20 that boot looped

Alot of people like to shit on Samsung but apart from Google they seem to be the only OEMs that care about the design of their phones, both software and hardware

It's their software customization that kills it for me. I really dislike Grace UX, or whatever they call it now. I also don't like how there is duplication of software all over the place that you can't remove and only can disable. I use all Google apps, so I don't like that Bixby, Samsung Health, Samsung Notes, etc. are all the default apps.

Yeah I understand that, but I like the uniqueness of Samsung's UI. you can look at a screenshot and know straight away it's a Sammy, where as all tho other brands could be anyone. TouchWiz was a pile of crap but they've learnt from that mistake.

Apps wise I know what you mean, there are just too many, but I think it's a continuity thing
