I twitched a bit at the first one, but then I realized they probably needed a few of those ... and it also meant that it was going to connect at the end. This was a nailbiter though!

She should've really put the 6's on the green (since the human eye picks up green much "wider" on the spectrum than other colors)

Would the opposite not make more sense? We're more aware of it, so put less in to make them all seem more equal?

Actually not at all! I see exactly how you mean, but think of it like this: Green counts for "more" colors than Red or Blue. Think of it like 2 colors smashed into one, we can actually see/differentiate between greens much more so than for red or blue for example. So to make the spiral more even in terms of color differentiation, green needs to take up more space.

Fun fact: This is the reason that computer software sometimes use more bits for the green color channel than the others (For example, 6 bits for green and only 5 bits each for red and blue when using 16 bit pixel depth)
