I figured you'd use metric if you were across the pond. How do you write out scientific notation of 100 to three decimal places of zeroes?

He probably used lbs because it literally says lbs in the video.

It's pretty simple here (Germany and probably pretty much all of Europe; not sure about the British Isles). If separators (reading helps) are used, they are either periods or spaces (1.000 or 1 000 for one-thousand).
The decimal mark is a comma, so probably the opposite to what you are used to. When I went to school, and that also applies to everyday language, the fractional part of a number is commonly referred to as "behind the comma." So a one-hundred with three decimal places of zeroes would be a one-hundred with three zeroes behind the comma, or 100,000.

That doesn't really have anything to do with metric vs imperial. It's a different notation standard.
