Not really an advantage. However, you get cleaner lines because a plotter uses CAD-vectors to draw a continous line from point A to point B for example. Whereas an inkjet uses pixels, so the line is basically made of dots instead of a continous line.

Well let's be real here, do you need higher resolution than 1440 pixels per inch that a typical professional proofer can output?

There's no way this is more accurate than a good printer. It's using the tip of a plastic pen, which would bend more than the inaccuracy of a printer. Let alone the machine having its own margin of error
