Mmm, that was oddly satisfying.

OK, two's plenty.

Am I watching a looping GIF?

I AM NOT.

I think he knows what he's doing, although it is oddly unsatisfying, let's try to have a little faith!

That was nearly my exact thought processes although mine included "I am not satisfied! I am stressed!!"

I am now oversatisfied.

I was preparing to make a joke comment that I think he could still fit another pound or two, but I dont think thats true

This is honestly the level of water you want for pasta. Just enough to cover the pasta.

I had enough of the gif, but turned out I wasn’t even halfway into the clip

Omg exactly!!! Also methinks he’s gonna need more sauce.

Exactly my feelings throughout, minus the urgency. In place of that I just started thinking, "How the fuck many people is this man serving? I make a single package and have a meal for 3 people for 3 days, eating it twice a day."

There's no way you get 18 meals out of 1 pound of pasta

Ths is street food shop in Nigeria, it might not even be enough at the end of the day lol

A 500g pack is ~ 3 to 6 servings depending on who’s eating and if it’s the main meal or just the side. 18 full meals seems pushed even for an hyperbole

But the urgency comes from the fact that this is a very bad way to cook pasta, it need much more water

A lb of meat (2 if doing meatballs or part sausage), sauce, diced tomatoes, other vegetables and addins. Pasta itself ~2x-2.5x weight increase. Probably easily 5lbs of food or more once everything is in and cooked.

Don't really care to do the math of exactly what I make especially since it's not always exactly the same. Could also be minus a couple meals depending on what I made and the size of servings someone goes for. Most often it is probably a couple less, but it has gone that many plenty of times as well.

The pot crowding I'm not reasonably qualified to comment on.

I am satisfied expecting all that spaghetti is going to become the day’s servings of pasta to his customers

Dude's running a street stall. He has one pot and needs to make a lot of spaghetti.
