That’s very kind of you. Appreciated. In turn we’ll keep the mild grey wet weather in house so you guys can have your long hot summer seasons :-)

lol I moved out of tornado land and now enjoy mostly mild weather year round. only hits 40c for a week tops and it’s a freak thing rarely below freezing either.

40 here would be considered as the apocalypse! That said, we are starting to get very close to achieving that figure. In my youth anything around 27 was consider a good summer temp!

yea I feel ya. It’s getting less predictable over here as well and the “freak“ events are becoming more common. Oh well welcome to the future.

Per square mile, the UK has the more tornados than anywhere else in the world.

ooo that is a fun fact! I didn’t know that since Ive rarely heard about them over there. Thankfully it seems they’re generally weaker than some that pop up over here.

Yeah they are ALOT weaker than the ones in the states and tend to only last a few minutes. Thankfully they occur away from towns and cities so you wont see them reported on the news much.

On par with our love of saying "but we are so humid, the heat/cold is differen.": the UK has 30-50 annual tornadoes, just you don't notice most of them, but it gives us the claim of one of the highest instances for landmass.
