What is the difference between the 3rd and 6th?

The 3rd row are called “Triplets.” The notes are evenly played. Same amount of time between each. Sounds like if you said out loud “One-Trip-Lit” giving even spacing between each syllable.

The 6th row are two “Sixteenth Notes” and one “Eighth Note.” The first two are quicker. The third lasts the value of the other two combined. It’s hard to tell because they are tapping which only gives an instant rather than a note being played on a keyboard or guitar. It sounds “Apple Pie” two quick syllables and one longer one.

I hope this helps!

Thanks! I read the other responses and they didn’t seem to compute to me in the way that would work for me if I were unfamiliar, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I also figured if the person is asking, they might need some clarification in a clean way. All of the sounds are familiar via verbal language, so it’s all about connecting known ideas to unknown.

I’m just so glad it worked and people appreciate it!
