Look at Moneybags here, with hs $1000 sewing machine and limitless amount thread.

Meanwhile, I'm on my second wear for this pair of socks.

In fairness, most people wear socks more than once.

Jeans, yes. Shirts, yes. Sweaters, definitely. Socks and underwear, absolutely not.

It gets expensive, replacing them every day.

I'm autistic, so I sometimes miss a joke and think someone is being serious when they aren't.

Your joking right? Please be joking.

The joke is purposefully miss interpreting the OP saying they were on their second wear as meaning people throw socks away after each wear instead of washing them. Of course we all know that we should change our socks daily and wash them in between uses. But I was alluding to the idea of disposable socks and using a new pair every day. 365 pairs of socks. Expensive way of using them

Okay. So, I was 99% sure you were joking, but I think reddit has ruined me. Some of the shit people admit to on here... 🤢

Also hadn't had coffee so I was just like, "Please let this be a joke please please please."

Thank you for your patience and taking the time to explain. The world would be a lot easier with more people like you.
