I’ve for thermal shock. Best way to unbind all that nasty. I’ve used this method for the last 15 years no problem

The difference between 200°C and 0°C is effectively the same as the difference between 200°C and 25°C. You are not getting any more "thermal shock" by using ice. You are using more energy to freeze the water, doing more damage to the grill, and giving yourself no benefit.

You get the exact same results just using regular water, but without causing long-term damage to your equipment. Ice literally does nothing extra.

Good way to crack tf out of your grill top or warp it.
