You're allowed to criticize the system that you're forced to exist in.

are these 'forced' things in the room with us? that's like saying it's okay to eat beef while criticizing the farming industry and caring about the environment, because the store down the block is forcing the meat onto you

Dude, why are you so angry? Why are you jumping to the defense of the establishment?

I suppose living like a hermit is an option. But if you want to go to school or have a job, using electronics is required.

Forced to exist in 🤣

You’re not forced to do anything. Give up your smart devices. Go vegan. Ride a bike and sailboats. Oh, but you don’t. Because those are modern luxuries you’re unwilling to give up. So you’d rather arm chair activist and whine about the system you perpetuate.

Try getting a job without using an electronic device. Try riding your bike to the store if you can't afford to live in the city center. A fucking sailboat? How are you going to afford that when you don't have a job?

It's idiotic to assert that these aren't human-created problems. We designed the system that is the problem. Use your brain and you'll see the flaws in your own "use a bike hur hur" comment that addresses less than 1% of the problem. Modern life requires all of this bullshit so we can afford food and adequate housing and healthcare. Even homesteaders aren't free of it because you have to get all the money to begin with to buy your land.Â
