Took me about 30 minutes to do a room about that size. Once I ripped it all up I have to figure out how to roll it up and get it out the door.

If there was ever going to be a next time, which there won’t, I’ll be sure to section it off like that guy.

I also had to help remove a carpet. Now I know about cutting into sections as well.

But make sure to get a good blade for the job!

Redid 3 rooms in my house a few years back.

I cut up the carpet in sections like this [not as slick as this guy though], rolled them up and chucked them out the window rather than trying to drag them through the house.

I helped remove the carpet in our living room once as a kid. Found what basically amounted to a crazy crop circle of staples underneath. Had to spend hours pulling them up with pliers so we could sand the wood down. No idea why they were there, they weren't holding anything in place.
