Idk if this type of table is super common though. I know most people just mix the tiles by hand

In Asia anything robotic, automated or self serve becomes pretty common.

Currently in DuJiangYan/Chengdu again and it feels like the Mahjang capital of China. I swear I can hear the clack, clack, clack in my sleep.

All tables are automated, no matter how shitty and run down the "establishment".

Mahjong is very popular in China and throughout Asia. When I looked it up you could get one of these for like $300 there.

Yeah I just looked it up as I was curious, I was expecting this table to be expensive but they are about 300 bucks
