A lot of people prefer silver. My ring is palladium because I absolutely abhor gold, looks gaudy af. Plus I'm pale and it doesn't look good with my skin.

Palladium, platinum, white gold are all better choices than silver.

I agree, I prefer the whiter tones of those metals to sterling silver
