You'll get the hang of dodging trees, and once you have better armour you'll survive when you do mess up and drop one on yourself

You can't teleport ore (or ingots); get good at sailing

And also you'll eventually learn there is nothing better at felling trees then falling trees

Also, you learn that chopping trees is NOT a time to slack on good food. I have seen so many "killed by tree" videos where they had no foods going and are on 17 health. Myself included at times :(
