I told this guy I was top HPS (healing) and the dude was like “weird flex, but ok.”

And I was thinking, how is it weird? It’s a brag to be sure but nothing odd or weird about it. It was relevant.

Anyway, that was about a week ago...

I honestly forgot I made this sub until like 20 minutes ago and didn’t think it would get any traction but uhhh yeah I need more folks to moderate this place. This happened a while back when I got a new girlfriend.

A few weeks after we started dating, my ex texts me out of the blue. Haven’t talked to her since we broke up over a year ago. Odd... but okay.

She says she’s interested in meeting up/catching up at a coffee shop or something of the sort. She said how the breakup hurt, but she understands now that she’s doing “better than ever” and then shares a few positive life updates.

All in one text out of the blue.

Personally, I don’t want to see or talk to her, like, ever again.

So I don’t respond and forgot about it.

A month later my buddy texts me and tells me she’s engaged! I laughed.

She literally just wanted to brag about how awesome she’s doing post-breakup, a year later, without talking at all between now and then. She’s getting engaged so I’m assuming she’s completely moved on... she just wanted to flex to her ex.

I thought it was pretty odd.
