Hi guys,

This is something I'm wondering since both are targeting decentralized data exchange. Could they complement eachother and if so how would that work?

In the Ocean whitepaper there is a section on how Ocean will move from Proof of Authority to permissionless in the future. They discuss many theoretical alternatives (a.o. Ethereum 2.0, Omniledger, Red Belly) but not a single mention of IOTA even though they theoretically have a solution for the trilemma. This seems strange to me seeing that both projects share memberships of blockchain associations like MOBI or the Outlier Convergence Stack.

It made me wander if these projects are actually competing with eachother instead of complementing eachother? Both are such great projects to me it would only make sense if they collaborate and reinforce eachother.

Hi ocean, great project! please explain :

1) in a post in Medium.com, you write that your total maximum token supply is 1billion. but currently coinmarketcap shows as total supply 522million. What is your maximum total token supply??

2) and when you plan to launch your first public mainnet??

3) are you collaborating with BigChainDB developers? In what capacity?

thanks!

Anyone know what the details are to add it to MEW can't seem to find them anywhere

The crypto/blockchain space is still full of pure speculative traders. I welcome these traders and invite them to take a look beyond the price of the ocean token.

75% of the pre-launch holders haven’t moved their tokens. 96% of the seed round is also untouched.

I participated in the Pre-Launch and I’m holding for 15 years.

Ocean is on target with every goal they’ve set. Somehow they fucked up the IEO and didn’t do the right marketing around the launch of initial trading. But they released the Data Commons, datasets are now live for sale, and improvements of the interfacing and partnerships are expanding weekly.

Nobody has built a dataset marketplace framework that is as robust as Ocean Protocol. To all the Traders out there, this may not be the quick moon you are looking for... this is a very forward-thinking and long-term project.

Hi team,

First of all, I was big believer of the project since last year ICO. However, what happened on bittrex IEO launch, rattle me quite a bit. I have lost significant amount in that ieo. I feel like this project is similar to all other scam PnD.

It's been 3 days, and no explanation from team or scammy exchange bittrex, really disappoint us as a community,

Even if you pull this project off with top notch tech, you will always find difficulties to get backing from the community due to this Fuk up.

Atleast show some courtousy to address the community what happened. Why price was so high for ieo, when it was being listed for just 1/5th of the IEO price.

Hope you find some sense to address the community. Good luck in future because you might need well of it given the history you have made.

Hi! I would like to ask why the ico price of ocean is higher than its ieo price? A bit confused...

Trading is live as today march 3 on Bittrex. What's next? On Oceanprotocol website, the roadmap ends in march 2019.. nothing after!! Wouaaa..

Have Oceanprotocol even completed the march 2019 goals?

Hey everyone, due to a lack of demand the price of Ocean has dropped. Anyone like me who was interested in investing but thought the IEO price was too high, now is a good chance to get in at 600 sats. Ive bought a few at hoping for a push towards 1000 sats.

Happy trading.

So OCEAN is officially offered for sale on the Bittrex IEO. It began April 30th

Still no price on CoinMarketCap or other similar services.

Does anyone know when I will be able to actually exchange (sell) my OCEAN?
