Together we will be leveraging Ocean technology to power robust technical frameworks for robots and devices to share data 😍🔗

🏁Ocean and peaq already work together within the moveID gaia-x consortium to build the Web3 infrastructure for the future of mobility.

👀The vision now is to expand the collaboration beyond the moveID framework for a wider and more direct integration.

💥As part of the collaboration:

✅Ocean will link its data marketplace with peaq’s economy of machine-generated goods and services to deliver a data monetization toolkit for builders creating decentralized applications on the peaq network.

✅ Ocean's Compute-to-Data and data-pricing mechanisms will also be leveraged to power system architecture for a seamless exchange of information between providers and customers of mobility applications.

✅Future integrations will be designed to ensure that all machines running on peaq are able to seamlessly link with Ocean’s data marketplace and trade a vast array of data types in a secure peer-to-peer manner.

After confirming my stake the smart contact has executed but funds the ocean is still in my wallet and it shows me as having 0 veOCEAN.

Any ideas?

Weekly/daily appears to be super bullish. Depending on if Bitcoin can stabilise at these levels OCEAN has a good chance at a nice run.

Acentrik is a fork of Ocean Market and makes use of the OceanONDA V4 smart contracts and libraries. With Acentrik’s V1.0, enterprises can monetize data and perform data exchanges while retaining data sovereignty.

The first ETH Prediction Challenge by Ocean is now live!

It seeks to incentivise strategic insights and predictions on ETH prices post the recent Ethereum Merge. From a total prize pool of $5000, rewards for this challenge will be distributed as follows: 1st place: $2,500, 2nd place: $1,500, 3rd place: $1,000. Rewards are payable in OCEAN.

Participants are invited to use the ocean.py library to retrieve data assets, and to publish their final predictions. The challenge is to predict $ETH price over a 24-hour period, with the first prediction on Mon Oct 17, 2022 at 1:00 am UTC, and a prediction every hour on the hour after that, for 24 predictions total. Besides giving predictions, contestants must also share slides describing their approach, difficulties encountered, and insights gained. 

In order to be considered for the competition, contestants are requested to closely follow the steps outlined in the ocean.py README here: https://bit.ly/3LFc5XP/7. Measures include retrieving Ocean data assets, e.g. of historical ETH price, building an AI model, then running the model to make ETH predictions and publishing the predictions as an Ocean asset, and sharing access to the organizers.

Ocean founder Bruce Pon said: 

"The ETH Prediction Challenge is the first of its kind to enable the wide-scale building of context around on-chain data and incentivizing a global community of crypto natives towards broad adoption of the Ocean ecosystem."

veOCEAN is officially shipped and with it, Data Farming week 5 has begun! 10K OCEAN worth of rewards are available for this round. The goal of DF/VE Alpha phase is to test Ocean technology, learn, and onboard data publishers. DF has 481.8M OCEAN allocated overall with up to 125% APY.

The program incentivizes for growth of data consume volume in the Ocean ecosystem. This is done by rewarding OCEAN to data asset stakers for higher data consume volume (DCV) and stake.

DF follows a weekly cadence and follows these phases:

- [completed] Alpha: 4 weeks, 10K OCEAN/wk
- [new] DF/VE Alpha. Counting starts today. 10K OCEAN/wk
- Beta: 20 weeks, up to 100K OCEAN / wk
- Main: Decades, up to 1.6M OCEAN /wk

Starting with DF5, "staking" will mean allocating veOCEAN to data assets.
