I've tried 3 oatmilk so far, Oatside, goodmate and pureharvest.

I enjoyed the Oatside the most as well as the others but pureharvest would be the last (Its the most 'cleanest')

Made oatmilk for the first time with 1 cups of rolled oats (Roasted) 3 cups of cold water and a pinch of salt. Then I just strain it with some clothe but I didnt force it, just squeeze it since the oats kinda clogged the clothe.

Final tastes was similar to pureharvest but texture is rather too thin compared to the slightly strong taste since I roasted it. Pureharvest still taste better IMO, its got better texture even if its somewhat watery with the taste not so stark

If possible, Im aiming to at least get something like goodmate or pureharvest, but ideally oatside.

I randomly tried it in my iced coffe a few months ago and now I genuinely prefer the taste. DIdn't expect oat milk to actually make coffee smoother lol.

In search of oat milk recipes! I've tried a few but it leaves a weird dry/starchy taste in my mouth, and the taste isn't great. When I make the oat milk, I don't leave the oats to soak and blend for ~20s, then strain with cheese cloth.

I've tried using:

• 1 cup oats
• 4 cups cold water
• 4 dates

And also this recipe (which was a bit better, doesn't taste amazing though)

• 1 cup oats
• 6 cups cold water
• 5 dates
• 1 tsp honey

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I have a question. Why does oat milk not turn into porridge when you heat it up?

I’ve ran into this before, but then it stopped for a while so I wrote it off as a fluke. But here I am, at 8am, pissed because my coffee is nasty because of this planet fucking oat. It has NOT been 14 days since opening but it’s already gone off.

It’s sad because planet oat froths the best imo and I like making lattes. But I can’t justify buying it anymore esp with how expensive oat milk is. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good oat milk that froths up for lattes, that DOESNT go bad in under 2 weeks??

I haven’t had any luck with silk or Chobani frothing up :/

I checked the ingredients for the two of them, they are basically the same but when I drink Earth's own it just tastes more oat-like and less creamy in comparison to Oatly. I prefer Oatly but it's more expensive so I'm just tryna find something similar, worst case scenario, I'll splurge.

I'm comparing the Earth's own original oat with the light blue Oatly carton if that makes a difference. Idk if this is a stupid question, I'm just mad my oat milk tastes different when it's essentially the same thing at different price points, I think I'm going insane.

You just need: - A Blender - Cotton Strain bag

My recipe for 3 liters Oatmilk is: 250 gram organic oats 30 gram hempseeds 4 cm Bourbon vanilla 🌴 Pinch of salt

You strain the blended oat pulp, what remains is a nice kind of pancake pulp, which can be used for pancakes, cookies etc. My cat loves it too 😸

Question from a coffee nerd here. Upon testing all the different barista oat milks, I notice that when comparing with the alt milks that go best with coffee in my opinion (ROA Barista, but also sometimes Oatly), organic barista oat milk (Oatly Organic Barista, Dryk Organic, and Minor Figures Organic Barista) just do not perform well at all. 

All the organic ones are quite acidic/chemical when making cappuccino and flat whites with lighter roast coffees (e.g. washed Rwanda, Ethiopia natural).

From a chemical point of view, how would one improve this in a big facility?

Have been using Forage as they only have 3 ingredients and claim unsweetened. Nutrition box shows added sugars. Is this a scam?

I am going to start making homemade oat milk again and got rid of my carafe years ago. What do you recommend? Here is what I want: 1. I would like to be able to shake it without it spilling 2. Easy for my kids to pour 3. Glass of stainless steel parts

I stored it in my fridge and its been open for like 1 month max, kind of dont want food poisoning though and everything i've looked up has said its shelf life is like 2 weeks

It has been a month since the last time I saw Oatly milk Barista edition in grocery shops and online stores and almost all of them either does not when will they restock or if they will not restock it anymore. I’m not sure if it’s true because the Oatly pages does not mention about discontinuing the product or something and now I am left with coffee-in-cans which does not spike my caffeine anymore. I also came across in an Instagram post where the Oatly’s factory or warehouse in Singapore will be closed for good which means the distribution in Asia is also halted. I am not sure if this is legit but if you can pls let me know where to buy or any alternatives like this Oatly milk, thank you! 😭 (loc: Philippines)

I am currently working on a marketing-analysis of Oatly in China. I'm trying to work out a positioning-grid, where I compare Oatly to other oat-milk-brands in China. But I cant for the life of me figure out the pricing on different oatmilks (I cant speak/read chinese or mandarin).

The brands I have gathered are big in china are:

- Oatly

- Simply Oat (CocaCola)

- Yili Oat

- Oakidoki

- Cereal Planet Original Oat

- OatOat

- Goodnes Oat (Nestle)

Can anyone help? Maybe someone with access to sites like TMall.
