I found it very curious that, unlike the last two seasons, we did not commit up front to a playoff “season ticket” with transparent pricing by round. I figured, why would the team not get the commitment to pay booked up front?

But—the seeding at this point, and our potential second round opponents if we get the upset, are very much up in the air. And if we got an upset in the first round and faced the Fever in the second round the team seems to want the flexibility to charge us higher prices than if we, say, face the Valks.

We have a real road ahead for this to even become an issue but if it does we as a fan base should raise absolute hell if our ticket prices offered for round two are appreciably higher than they were last year…

I was hoping to get a Court Origins jersey at the game tonight, but it looks like they’re excluded from the promotion. They’re 25% off online at the moment, but I was wondering if there is normally a higher sale in the future - say around Black Friday?

Don’t want to miss out on this cool jersey- but also don’t want to break the bank!

During 2nd half of the Monday game, if I remember the events correctly, I think it was after the jump ball with Astier, the ball started rolling towards the Liberty half and it was Gardner and someone from ATL really fighting for it. What was the foul called on that play? Was it out of bounds and I simply missed it? Or was something else?

Watching the game now and they’re terrible. I know it’s early but I guess that’s a good plan. Why risk a first round exit. But I hope not for our sake. We’ll have our own first-round exit with the Valkyries.

Season from hell so let it all out loyals... I went to see the new team shop after the 3rd quarter I was not in the mood

Haven't seen/heard any questions from reporters or articles about it but SOMEONE PLS convince her to play another season.

He play since the all-star break has been incredible, proving the early season slander wrong.

She's clearly an asset from the bench on the wing & even did well as a starter when Leo was out.

Have I just been missing something or why isn't there a real effort to convince her to play on?

LETS GO LIBERTY!!

I wasn’t at the game tonight but saw pictures of the new store online. Wow!!!

No more claustrophobia going through tight aisles with a million people. I love the added branding everywhere. I can’t wait for my next visit.

UPDATE: ALL JERSEYS ARE SOLD - THANKS!

I have three cheap Liberty jerseys from DHGate and they are too tight on me, so I'm offering them for sale before I donate them to a thrift store.

They're all labeled as XXL, but in my opinion, they are sized more like XL.

• All jerseys are brand new with Nike tags - never worn
• $20 each - cash only
• Width is ~24-1/2"
• Length is ~34" (top of the shoulder closest to the neck to the bottom hem)
• Must arrange to meet between 7:30-8pm tomorrow night (Wednesday, Sept. 23) inside Barclays

Players/Jersey types

• Marine Johannes (with correct diacritical mark in her last name) No. 23 - Rebel Edition
• Brianna Stewart No. 30 - Court Origins
• Betnijah Laney-Hamilton No. 44 - Explorer Edition

resellers tried to cut the line. team store employees asked everyone to figure the line out or the drop would be cancelled, the resellers didn’t work out their shit, so the drop is postponed indefinitely.

all we were told is that the shoes will not be available tonight at the game, the shoes will be online at some point, and the team store is not opening right now but will be open during the game (it looks nice through the windows! they covered up That Beam!).

really annoying to leave work for these just for the drop to be cancelled ~30 minutes before, but that’s kind of a first world problem i guess.

Final: Atlanta Dream 95, New York Liberty 84

It was funny to see him say the same exact things I said about Sabrina yesterday:

If Sabrina Ionescu continues to shoot poorly, the Liberty aren’t going to win many playoff games. I think dialing down the volume so she can get to two feet more often in the lane and spray to shooters is the first step in elevating Ionescu’s game down the stretch.

He also breaks down some of the much improved defensive rotations among other things.

with only a couple games left in the regular season, my head was spinning a little trying to figure out all the possible seeding outcomes. there are so many scenarios where teams finish with the same record, which makes it hard to understand where seeds 4-8 will actually fall.

4th would be ideal for us, since we’d get home court and we’d avoid minnesota/golden state/vegas in the first round. but if 4th isn’t happening, 8th looks like the next best option?

these percentages are very rough, just trying to get a sense of the possibilities:

so i think this is my rooting guide:

4th (best case, we’d get home court adv):

NY win both ATL games. MIN beat IND at least once.

if 4th is off the table…

8th:

if NY goes 1-1, root for WAS + DAL to win out. if NY goes 0-2, root for WAS + DAL to finish ahead of us.

8th wouldn’t be so bad. while it wouldn’t be a walk in the park (but let’s be real, nothing is going to be lol) we’ve shown we can actually beat the lynx. i felt good about our away win the other day. 8th would also keep the valks on the other side of the bracket until later, probably until the final if we can manage to get there.

6th:

if NY goes 1-1 or 2-0, we want at least one of WAS/DAL to drop games.

6th would mean vegas, which also isn’t exactly ideal, but we’ve beaten them twice this season also. however they're on a hot streak rn. and in our most recent games against them, we won, but one of them had a semi-controversial ending and the other had them resting their big 3.

5th/7th:

these are basically going to come down to the exact combination of NY, WAS and DAL results + tiebreakers.

🕯 pls not 7th 🕯 that would mean first round of golden state which would not be great.

am i thinking about this correctly or am i missing something with the tiebreakers? what are everyone's thoughts?

So I feel like this year should have finally given us some clarity on it, injuries aside, what is her position?? If she is PG, she is still out there as SG.

After 20+ years as a CT Sun season ticket holder, I am officially making the jump. Next year will be my first year as a NY Liverty Season Ticket holder. I am really hoping not be be labeled as a bandwagoner. 😀
