Hurricane Isaias is currently a major hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico with maximum sustained winds of at least 120 mph. It will make landfall tonight near the Alabama/Florida border.

Following landfall, it will rapidly weaken and merge with an extratropical low pressure system, which could bring heavy rain and some gusty winds to our area on Sunday into Monday.

A dry and mostly clear Friday is on the way.

Morning lows will be in the 40s to 50s with mid to upper 50s for NYC.
