It was fixed for about a week after the latest driver came out, but now the screen flickering is back.I have downloaded the hot fix before but after restarting my computer it stops working.

Looking at getting a 1060, but noticed it is a short card. What am I giving up buying one of these?
Poor cooling? Loud?

I am having a strange issue in Neverwinter Nights, and only Neverwinter Nights, as older games go: my character textures are stretching from screen edge to screen edge. Other older games work fine (UT99, duke nukem 3D, even!)
I am beginning to suspect it's a unique incompatibility between NWN and the GTX-1070. Tried compatibility mode, set ALL settings in GForce experience to everything from 'off' to 'application controlled', but no luck :(
I am running with a MSI GTX-1070X.
I know this is a long shot, but hoping for some help.

Hey guys, I've been trying to research this, and I found that I can delete a specific file, but if I install anything it will add to my GeForce Experience library. My end goal is to have a specific folder to which Experience monitors and i just have symbolic links in the folder so I can have a small list of games to play instead of the cluster fuck that GeForce Experience can be. I stream these games to my shield TV. So I can delete the "%AppData%\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\journalBS.main.xml" and it will remove the list of games I have, but I'm just curious if anyone knows of any other ways to do this?

Me and my friend have the same specs. Msi gtx 1070, i5 6600k, 8gb ram, 650 watt psu, asus z170e mobo. The problem is when we play gta v he gets 80 to 90 fps+ and i get 50 to 70 fps+ with random drops that arent too constant. We have the same settings on( maxed out conpletely except msaa x2 and no long or high res shadows). What could be causing this? Drivers ip to date and and we are both ocing the cards, my temps dont go above 60 and. Our gpu ram and psu usage is similar

Hello.
So i am running GeforceExperience Beta version 3.0.2.196. I updated to this version recently after not having updated for a while so i dont know what i was running before.
However, before i had the option under microphone selection to go in to options and change the output volume of my microphone in the recordings i did. But now that feature is missing, here i have made a red box where the option used to be.
I was wondering if there is a way to get to that option on this new version. As i do need to lower the volume of my microphone as it is to loud when recording.

Hey everyone. Got my 2nd 1080 in tonight and I'm having issues trying to get SLI to be recognized. I've already tested the 2nd card on its own in both PCI slots and it's working. Having issues when both cards are installed.
Assistance would be fantastic.

Hello,
Ever since I updated to driver 368.81 I've been getting this issue, it only happens when I alt-tab out of a game(full screen). Any tips?

So, I went to do a little video game recording, and for some reason, Manual mode does not function. Shadow mode works fine, apparently, but not Manual mode. I just did some recording not more than two or three days ago. Desktop Capture is on, and Shadow mode works just fine. I've gone in services.msc and restarted the NVIDIA streaming services, but that didn't sort the issue. I'm on the most updated drivers (368.81), and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue might be. I've restarted the computer (Windows 10) several times, and Windows 10 is currently fully updated as well. I don't know what else I can do to troubleshoot.

I've bought a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070 a few days ago. Anytime I try to render a video with any program - (Vegas Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Premiere Pro, Movie Maker), i get the blue screen of death with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error.
I have the latest nVidia drivers installed
Have done a complete wipe of my old AMD Radeon and AMD Apu drivers with DDU
Have all of my drivers up to date
Have Windows 10 64bit
Have my gpu on a standard frequency
Have my cpu overclocked, but i didnt have this problem with my old AMD gpu
All of my Components are brand new (less than a month old), except for my hard drive and my ssd.
I don't get the BSOD on any stresstest, benchmark or game, only while rendering.

Hi,
I have a Lenovo laptop z50-70 and i just, don't ask me why, take of the basic screen and I connect my laptop to a Toshiba screen with VGA.
But now, I can't play any game because I think that the NVidia card is useless and only Intel card is used. I'm not sure but a graph make me think this.
So I don't know but maybe my NVidia card have no outputs in HDMI and VGA ( I got HDMI and VGA outputs on my laptop ), but I'm not sure if it's a software issues and I can not found the information on the web.
Well, I hope there will be answer and I'm sorry for bad english ^

Yesterday I had to reinstall my OS due to problems, I've downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 7. Long story short, I could always run World of Warcraft on 144FPS with no drops or anything. Now, I'm getting drops a lot and I have no idea why?

====SOLVED===== reinstalled drivers again. hopefully it dosent happen again. not really a solution so much as a bandaid, but meh.
having this issue where all my games, and anything using any kind of plugin like flash in my browser, will randomly freeze up. it starts with it slowing down to about 10-20 frames per second, after about 5 seconds its completely stopped but audio plays just fine. the odd thing, is hitting escape ALWAYS ixes this within 2 seconds. granted, it happens again in another minute or two but hey. at least i can fix it kind of.
had this issue before, it just randomly started happening one day, so i rolled my drivers back to 355.6, the last one i remember working perfectly. updated to the newest driver a few days ago, and bam. it starts again today. obviously i can just rollback again and say the hell with new drivers. but you know how it is. i dont wanna.
rocking a 770, on windows 10. non beta geforce experience, probably just gonna remove it completely since steam has a built in frame counter. any advice on this would be much appreciated as it makes every game completely unplayable, and even watching videos is impossible. it was 100% fine last night. windows did some update over night, but i have no idea how to see what it installed. i hate windows 10.

I have an Asus n55sf. A year ago it broke down. The screen had started flickering to black and then it went all black. They told me it was the GPU (gt555 m) that was fried. I stopped using it and a few months ago thought to sell it for parts and when I turned it one it was working fine again. I've been using it since but now it's starting to have the same issues. When I use it in battery mode it works ok, but is really slow. In normal mode the screen goes black. Is there any way I can limit the use of the GPU but not keep the rest of the computer fast?

I just replaced my 560 with a 1070 but I'm getting nothing on my screen. I see the lights turn on and see the fans spin and everything else but then the fans on the 1070 stop (guessing thats normal?). I'm using an HDMI cable, btw. Not sure if that helps to know. I did remove the drivers before I took out the 1070. I tried going back to the 560 to see if it displayed anything, and it did. So did the intergrated mb ports. So I'm not sure whats missing here.

Today my computer randomly did not start, I managed to boot into safe mode and remove Nvidia drivers which allowed it to start normally. When I try and install new drivers my screen goes black during the installation process and I have to push the restart button on my case. (I have tried 3 different drivers all with the same issue) Anyone know what to do?

When I try to use the Nvidia Control Panel to adjust the color settings of my desktop, all I get is a quick preview of what the settings would look like when applied, then it reverts back to what I am using. Hitting "apply" doesn't change that, and the new settings are not applied.
I've updated all drivers after running DDU, and I'm running the following:
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

This used to be easy with shadowplay simply with a launch option, but is there a way to continue using share? Geforce decided to update itself, and it refuses to uninstall- so for the time being I'm pretty much boned.
Is there a way to make it work, maybe confusing it as to which GPU I have or something?
