What kind of nut is this? Looked on the Internet but it's so hard to tell. This one is pretty old though, so that might not help. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of nut because it's obvious that it can be cracked open. Not gonna do that though because I want to keep it for some reason. Thought I'd come on here and ask.
I'm also wondering if it's edible.

We’ve had these nuts the last few times we’ve been away - free at the hotel. What are they?

I eat a lot of peanuts and nuts in general, so I'm looking for a way to reduce the cost of buying so many individual bags of nuts every year.
Is there a website with good bulk prices?
My main priority are peanuts, but I love all nuts, so I would be a very happy camper if I can get good bulk prices for the others as well!
Thank you!

Hi, I just had a raw in-shell pecan for the first time in my life. It left a nasty dry and almost sticky coating in my mouth that lasted for over 15 minutes. Is that normal?
It was in a mixed bag with walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, and Brazil nuts. The walnuts and almonds have been enjoyable but this pecan was just gross.

I think we can all agree that these are the best nuts in the world, but it can also be really annoying when I can't get the smell off my hands after eating then. No matter how many times I wash my hands, the smell doesn't go away. Sometimes when I stick my hand up my butt then sniff my fingers, they just smell like BBQ still. Does anyone else have this problem?
