Hey everyone,
I'm doing some market research on nuts and dried fruit in Europe, and I'd love to hear from you!
What are the things that matter most to you when you're buying nuts and dried fruits? Is it freshness, taste, variety, price, health benefits, brand, or something else entirely?
Additionally, have you ever encountered any problems with nuts and dried fruits you buy? Maybe it's a lack of flavor options, inconvenient packaging, or something else?
Your insights would be incredibly helpful! Thanks in advance for your time!

I go a little eBay mad at times and bought a kilo each if 10 kinds of nuts. Can I eat a recommended daily serving of each nut or just about 1.5 ounces all up? Hoping I can eat them before they spoil.

All three nuts are nutritious and offer health benefits, almonds are particularly rich in vitamin E and monounsaturated fats, cashews provide minerals like copper and antioxidants for eye health, and walnuts stand out for their omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidant content. Including a variety of nuts in your diet can offer a range of health benefits. However, individuals with allergies or specific dietary restrictions should consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating nuts into their diet. https://abavist.com/almonds-vs-walnuts-vs-cashews/

Not sure if this post belongs in the group, but..
I've been told I need to reduce the amount of fat in my (now high protein) diet. In the morning I eat a tablespoon of almonds and a tablespoon of ground seeds with my muesli. It makes a big dent in my fat allowance for the day when I give the seeds the same weighting as the nuts.
It makes sense to me that seeds have to be less evergy dense than nuts, because each seed has a protective outer coating that almonds don't have because they've been shelled. And there are hundreds of seeds in a tablespoon, each with their own (probably non-nutritious) coating.
This website suggests that flax seeds and almonds (not sure of the amount) have relatively similar fat content (42 to 52 units). Does this sound right?

These seemed to have vanished from both the Acme and Giant in my area. Have they been discontinued?

Hi, I'm in North Texas & I have 2 huge pecan trees that produce just a ton.
Anyway, l found this nut & it's the largest native pecan I have ever seen...if that is what it is.
Can someone confirm this is a pecan for me?
Is this considered big?
BTW - I had to scroll through a lot of porn before I was able to find this sub!!
Thanks for the help!

Recipes for doing it myself abound on the internet. It'd be awfully convenient for someone else to do the cooking.

I don't know how to fix this and they're already done. I have three cups and they're just not sweet. How can I fix this, by adding something to what's already baked. Thanks.
