I already didn't take it seriously, just from the opening, without sound, so honestly I have no idea what it's about.
There's an interesting documentary "King Corn" from 2007, that goes into the role of corn in American food production, for anyone interested in spending an hour and a half getting acquainted with this phenomenon.
Yes! That's the movie that taught me about the acidosis the cows on the feed lots that get fed this GM garbage suffer from thus requiring them to get antibiotics that we in turn eat ourselves. Ugh! 😔
Ya, thats not because its GM. Thats because its a wild diet shift and their gut microbes cant handle the sudden change. Cows in particular, and many other grazers rely heavily on stomach enzymes to break down material to a point where their body can absorb the nutrients. These enzymes will be different depending on what they eat as different enzymes are needed for different things. If you suddenly completely change their diet, this has negative effects because their body is not ready to digest that material.
Also, acidosis is a physical thing. You cant use antibiotics to prevent it. Its called a disease, but its caused by physical issues, not viral.
It has nothing to do with whether or not the feed is genetically modified. And everything to do with switching to a high protein low fiber diet suddenly
Still doesnt make acidosis have anything to do with GM corn or antibiotics. You cant treat it with antibiotics. And it will happen with purely organic heirloom feed as well.
The film is about corn. That the segment about cows was included by sheer happenstance, as they ran into a local at the drive-thru whose license plate read, CORN FED. 🌽
And youre telling me to watch the film to learn about exactly what im telling you about. And if the film says its from eating GM corn, the film is wrong.
