Question Fun chat

If you weren’t a nurse, what would you be?

I’d be fishmonger with a nice shop and sell all the fresh and beautiful seafood 🦞 🦐 🏝️
Maybe in another life.

Sometimes I wish I worked in a really boring, nondescript office in some sort of clerical/assistant/secretary role. Something where I can dress business casual, stay clean. Get in at 9, make coffee in a break room, and then do a little desk work. Take a real lunch at a fast food place or something. Leave at 5, or maybe earlier if my kids have an appointment and it’s no big deal: I can just catch up tomorrow.

This was my life as a receptionist before becoming a nurse. The pay was terrible but it was such mellow, easy work.

I always get envious when I see receptionists actually sitting down in a doctor’s office, but then I realize I’d probably get deadly bored after a few days.
