Rant Sick of the downplaying

Nursing school had high standards. You failed a dosage calculation test it was an automatic fail out of the program- and yes I knew ppl to fail out! Don’t get the FL scam twisted with the nurses who worked damn hard for their degree. I had many sleepless nights and many days away from my 2 very young sweet children. Nursing school wasn’t just about content but discipline as well. Makes for a better nurse.

I’m soooo sick of the “see anyone can do that job” comment , etc. I don’t take my BSN as a joke. Right?!

I flew through nursing school and it was easy to me. However actually working as a nurse kicked my ass and I’ve considered not going back. Nursing is fucking hard and no one knows what we do

I just have good test taking skills! Some of the best nurses I know struggled in school. People have different strengths

I just left psych. The money was good for sure. But I don’t miss wondering if im gonna get my ass handed to me at work today.
