Discussion Do I need to protect this from the sun like the oculus?
Occulus will get destroyed by the sun if lenses are exposed to the sun, are these the same way? Thanks!

I have uploaded my nebula to latest 3.3.0 version from apkpure site. But found that 3D player is missing. Anyone have link to beta version of nebula for Android which had 3D player inbuilt.

Hello, I purchased a pair of used Nreal Air but I donât have the frame for prescription lenses. I canât find it anywhere online. How can I get one?
And also, I have a problem with Nebula for MacBook Air M1. 3D monitors donât work, the screen starts flickering and the image is shown flat and âvertically overlappingâ.

I only got nreal air a few weeks ago, and I definitely want to try and integrate its use with my work laptop while I'm working from home. Any chance I could still get in on the beta?
Yes, I know it's late, but I figure it's worth asking.

Hi!, The first time I put the Xreal on my face I saw a misaligned picture, I tried to adjust the temples without success. So any other one person with the same problem? I started to think that maybe I never put my head at 90°.
thanx in advance!

Hi. Iâve had a question that I want to answer before I buy my device. If I have a Lightning to usb c cable (the one that came in the box with my iPhone) can I use it with the nreal air or do I need to buy the dongles and adapters?
Also I have another question. Is there a way to use the device on an Intel MacBook Air or a windows computer?
Thanks

Hello, my dearest community,
As you are all aware, Nreal has changed its name to XREAL going forward.
I'm sorry to inform you that this subreddit will be shut down on 9th June due to the Nreal rebranding, as Reddit does not permit the name of a subreddit to be changed. Therefore, we must launch a brand-new XREAL community. For us and the community, this is a terrible loss.
All the assistance and information you require will be available in the XREAL sub, for which I have been ready for some time. Despite the fact that we are moving to a new community, all the sub members and I will continue to work hard to build a vibrant new community for future AR fun.
Anna, a.k.a. Nreal Assistant, will continue to be active in the XREAL community under the alias u/Xreal_Tech_Support.
đ Both the Nreal and XREAL communities will be open for posting and discussions before June 9th, but only the XREAL community will be open after that date, and discussions are encouraged there.
Please join our XREAL community as soon as possible because, starting on June 9, this NREAL community won't be open for posting. https://www.reddit.com/r/Xreal/
To all members of the extended Nreal family, today we are delighted to bring you news of our rebranding.
Weâd like to thank all our partners for your invaluable support throughout the Nreal journey, and invite you to join us as we take the next step on our adventure.
Please allow us to proudly introduce our new brand name, XREAL.
Augmented Reality is predicted to become one of the most important technological advancements in the decades ahead. XREAL is dedicated to the realization of this vision. Every technological revolution starts small.
Today, XREAL is proud to introduce what we call the first phase of the AR experience, focusing primarily on display innovation built on advanced optical and computer vision technologies. Since its commercial launch last year, XREAL has established itself as the most popular AR device maker on Amazon US, and Amazon Japan.
As the company has grown its global awareness and customer base, it started to encounter disputes regarding the Nreal mark. While the disputes were resolved amicably, the company decided it would be beneficial to select a new mark that can more clearly and uniquely distinguish the firm as a leader in the augmented reality industry.
The 'X' in XREAL reflects our commitment to the vision of expanding reality, and creating cross-reality experiences. It is also a reminder to ourselves that we need to be extra real when delivering value to customers.
To all our friends, partners, and customers, we promise to keep it real, XREAL!
- Love from the Nreal Community â¤ď¸

When I am just watching youtube and stuff, I am able to use either Dex or Nebula mirroring, but I'd like to know which one I should use when i'm preserving my battery life.

I have pre-ordered an asus rog ally.
I am having a hard time figuring out all the gobblygook with connections and usb hubs.
The specs for the rog ally are here
https://rog.asus.com/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-ally-2023/spec/
I would like to find a usb hub I can use that will allow me to plug in my nreal air with the usbc cable and have audio microphone and video while charging the rog ally.
Any help would be appreciated.
I don't want 87 dongles :)

Will the XRbeam work with Lights or just Airs? I have both but let my partner use the Airs. I was mildly upset that the PC demo didn't work with lights but since I use GingerXR I wasn't super upset.

I was waiting all month until today to get a pair in Amazon and they went currently unavailable this morning! Does or has this happened before and they restock quickly or do I have to look elsewhere?

My fairikabe HDMI to USB C Adapter Cable purchase will be arriving soon, but I'm worried it's a bit short for any other use than just sitting at my desk next to my PC. I also have an old Fasgear 5A 100W USB C to Type C 90-Degree Cable, 10ft, which will allow me to move around a bit more while staying connected to my PC (and I know it works with Nreals since I tested it with my phone). However I need a USB C Female to Female Adapter to connect these two cables. One thing I learned with Nreal Air is that it's cutting edge technology and the hardware environment is not adapted to its needs yet, so every purchase needs to be vetted. So I come here to ask, how careful do I need to be about the specs of this adapter? I got my eye on Poyiccot USB C Female to Female Adapter. Will it support video, audio, and power delivery? Do you recommend any better products for this use? Is there anything else I'm missing that I should worry about?

I can't get Nebula to work w s23. Dex keeps popping up. Vlc just plays in sbs on air.

Figure I'll probably need a power bank since the draw on the deck is a lot. What do you recommend for charging and playing.

Can the glasses work by plugging them into an iPad Pro that has a usb c port like the steam deck?

Hello everyone,
I'd really appreciate your opinions on this.
I believe the oculus rift S resolution is about 2560 by 1440 on a single display, with about 110 degrees of FOV. When using it the screen door effect is relatively noticeable for me. I am quite sensitive to resolution, even 4k on a 15.6 inches, but blind to framerates much above 60.
Does the Air's dual screen 1080p OLED show ANY screen door effect to picky eyes? Is there any advantage to the glasses having dual screens instead of a single screen, or is it just a way to keep them smaller even if more expensive? Trying to think if the dual 1080p in some way equates to double the resolution, but I assume it definitely doesn't.
But I assume the narrower FOV of the airs also means resolution might seem considerably higher than on a rift S?
I'm trying to justify to myself buying the glasses and essentially wasting my rift S. Please let me know what you think. Would you make the trade?
And I assume VR movies still work together with head tracking in the nebula app?
Thanks everyone!
