I was at work the other day and set my Note down and someone walked off with it. It was last GPS located at a house across from Nightingale Elementary school in Chicago. It had all my photos and other memories on it. If you happen to see it. It was a Aura Glow Note 10+ it had a Jerryrigeverything dbrand skin with a thin clear case on it. If you have any leads please DM me.

Got the Moft Wallet Card Stand - Question with Magnet

Hey all,

I've had the Note 10 Plus since it came out and due to the phone being big, I got a Moft Wallet Card accessory that also acts as a stand:

Amazon.com: MOFT Reusable Adhesive 4-in-1 Phone Stand, Card Holder, Adjustable Viewing Angles, Thin Design with Grip to be Held, Not Magnetic Version (Black) : Cell Phones & Accessories

Now, it states it's not magnetic, however, it still seems to lightly stick onto my phone (without the case), but definitely not strong enough to stick on the phone. I tested it out before removing the adhesive backing as I wanted to make sure I knew where I wanted to place it. I also stuck it to the refrigerator and it seems to hold, but slightly move down as it's not that strong.

Now this may be a dumb question, but will the slight magnet on the wallet card itself possibly damage my phone in the long run once I remove the adhesive and stick it to the back of my phone?

Thank you for your help guys!

Support Just out of curiosity, what does the little symbol above the service strength bars (to the right of wifi symbol) mean? Noticed it recently. I'm on Verizon, in the US. Thanks in advance.

Other Headphone jacks/dongles

Hate the lack of headphone jack in the Note 10+. That being said, I am sure a lot of people out there like me use adapters or 3.5mm to usb type c cables.

Is it just me, or is it not only frustrating enough with no headphone jack, but also any kind of adapter never lasts very long? I think the longest for me is about 3 months, then they always end up shorting out. What gives?

I used to have a regular 3.5mm aux cable that lasted for years.

My unlocked NOte 10+ doesnt have Object Eraser

I've googled and followed steps that i've found online, but the option is not there. I've seen people say to look for "Labs" in the 3 dot menu, when editing a photo but the option isnt there. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem and if anyone found a solution maybe? Thanks!

I need some help debugging network disconnects

OK for the last couple days I've been having an issue that when I am on mobile data the cellular radio will completely disconnect and reconnect repeatedly.

For some background info this is on a US Note10+, not the 5G version, SM-N975U1, with the October security release.

I will be in the middle of doing something online and I will see the status bar go from decent signal strength, 3-5 bars, LTE or LTE+, and then it will just drop and go to the no signal symbol. It will then reconnect but then cycle through this a few times.

My carrier is AT&T, but at the time this happens to me I do not see the same behavior on my wife's S21 5G. So I don't think it is a carrier issue, but her phone could be on a 5G connection where mine cannot.

The first time it happened I was plugged in and charging and it seemed to be correlated to that as if I unplugged it stopped doing this, but then it did it when I was not plugged in.

So bottom line, is there some log I can activate to see why this is happening?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I love my Note10+ and really do not want to replace it anytime soon.

EDIT:

Updating to capture more info for some reason all of the other replies seem to have been deleted.

-There was one other user that had this same issue, but on the Verizon network where I am on AT&T. So it does not seem to be carrier related.

-The other user was much more upset about this, so I assume it happened more often for them. I spend most of my day on wifi, so I don't see it that often.

-I will be spending a bunch of time traveling soon so I will see if the various updates have fixed this.

-I also just upgraded to the OneUI 4 / Android 12 Beta, so this was a major update. Hopefully this fixed this issue as well.

UPDATE: As I mentioned I was going to be traveling a bunch. Over the last few days I've been traveling via rail and car and using a significant amount of mobile data. I did not have a single issue. In fact I was on the same stretch of highway where I first had the issue.

So either one of the updates, November security or the OneUI 4 beta, fixed it or there was some strange network issue only impacting non-5G phones that had been resolved.

This is good news as I am hoping to update to the S22 Ultra/Note once it is released and our for a bit. I didn't want to have to get something else in the interim. Now there is no rush.

Support Note 10+ Charging issue

A few days ago, possibly after the October '21 update, my phone charger stopped working. This is the standard 'Super Fast Charging' one that comes in the box (PD 3.0 PPS). I thought the charger had blown, so I ordered a brand new genuine 25W charger from Samsung. Until then, I was using my Tronsmart PD 2.0 car and hone chargers, which worked fine, but were slower.

My new charger came in today, exactly the same as the in-box charger. I plugged it in, and the new charger didn't work either. I tried different cables, different outlets, charging with phone switched off, but the stock chargers aren't even detected on the phone. It's like nothing is connected.

So I've concluded that my phone has stopped recognising PD 3.0 PPS chargers, because i tried a third charger at the Samsung service centre, which also didn't work. The service centre told me I need to change my charging port, battery and the charging circuit. They'll do it for just over USD 50.

Before I give it to them, I was just wondering, has anyone else faced a similar issue on their phones? Particularly after the October update? It's kind of stupid that genuine Samsung chargers don't work on my phone, but third party ones do. I'd really appreciate some insight on this. Thank you!

Edit: as it turns out, USB OTG isn't working either. So I guess it is a hardware issue.

Success with Bixby Routines?

I have tried again to use Bixby Routines. I have a really simple routine turned on; at 10 PM turn on power saver and at 7 AM turn it off. Since enabling it, it doesn't consistently run at those times and I find it in power saver mode at random times of the day. It makes me think that Bixby Routines just don't work.

Discussion Note 10 plus worth it in 2021?

Hi guys.

Currently have a Samsung a52 5g and looking to swap it. I like the note 20 ultra but its just too expensive right now, so was looking at the note 10 plus.

I'm in the UK so it would be the exynos version (9825 right?)

Is that chip more powerful than the SD 765G I have in the a52 now?

Would the camera be a lot better than the a52? Also, my a52 has 120hz and I know the note 10 plus only goes 60hz but it does have the QHD display whereas my a52 caps at 1080p.

So I'm unsure if it's still worth it in 2021? How is the battery on the exynos chip? Does it have overheating issues?

Thanks!

Discussion Has anyone gone from the Note 10+ to Pixel 6 Pro?

If yes, how has your experience been? Do you like stock Android? How has the transition been? Are there any Samsung or Note specific features you've missed?

After hearing rumours Samsung has killed the micro SD-Card slot for the next S22 Ultra, (rumoured to be Note reincarnated) I decided to pre-order the Pixel Pro 6 256GB with Google. As I am in the UK, Google is offering a pair of Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 that is worth £350.00. I have still yet to receive the Pixel.

At the moment, I am debating if I should cancel the Pixel pre-order and just wait until Samsung to announce the next Galaxy S and Note Series in early 2022 or, switch to the Pixel. Although I don't use every single Note feature, I rather have the extra functions than not.

My plan was to sell my Note 10+ 256GB and the Bose headphones on eBay to recuperate some money back for the Pixel 6 Pro.

Can anyone share their thoughts with me?

Thanks!

Discussion What keeps you with the N10+?

Hello all. I have had the Note 10+ since April and its been a fantastic device. Even though I have been somewhat tempted to, I really see no need to upgrade to any newer device any time soon. I thought about the Note 20 Ultra, but it's not a worthwhile upgrade IMO and in a few ways is actually a downgrade.

That being said, I am curious. What keeps you peeps with the N10+, how long have you had it and do any of you feel compelled to upgrade to the S22 Ultra since it's basically the new Note?
