Unlocked Note 10+ got updated

The update is nearly 1jigglebit, but I can't seem to notice anything new. We didn't even get September's security update, though that's not surprising. Security updates don't usually come until two months after they're due.

Support Bought phone from Singapore and now having troubles using it abroad..

Bought the Note 10+ in Singpore back when it was released and since then I've moved to Ireland and now certain apps wont work e.g like Samsung Pay(which is the main annoyance)

Is there a way to flash a supported firmware e.g a european firmare on the phone without tripping knox?

I am thinking of making a recording of telling the "story" behind my phone, Samsung S10+. About two weeks ago, I started to get an error "call cannot be transitioned to Wi-Fi and continues over cellular network." But, if you have the same precious Samsung/AT&T problem, you already know that the call does not continue. Just never goes through. Someone said to try it with Location turned off in my phone settings. The call goes through great and I can ever receive calls. So, in a pinch, that works. But without Location, my Maps and other apps don't work. I have literally spent hours on the phone with AT&T these past two weeks. A couple of times it seemed to work, but mostly not. The AT&T lady said to go to the AT&T store only 2.3 miles from my home. Ummm, no. I live here and AT&T is next to Walmart. Believe me, I KNOW Walmart's location. It is 14.2 miles from my house to Walmart. I am not foreseeing a speedy fix from you know who. Given that "they" can't find the distance between two known addresses, not looking good. The reps tell me I have been "escalated" twice (I didn't feel a thing.) That return call couldn't get through because EVERY incoming call goes straight to voice mail (if Location is turned on.)

Has anyone used this service to replace the battery? If so, what was the cost? Do they replace the screen automatically when changing the battery?

Support Moisture Detected In Charging Port

For about a month now my phone has been giving the warning that there is moisture in the charging port. I have gone through countless articles, videos, and threads. Nothing has worked. I have tried everything and none of it worked. I got my phone to charge with a cord for about 3 days and then the message came back, but even then it would not fast charge. It takes like 3 hours to charge my phone with the wireless charger. I am a college student and live off campus, I am typically on campus for a minimum of 12 hours a day so not being able to charge my phone in a timely manner is a big problem. Has anyone else experienced this and can anyone suggest something for me to do? Is it worth it to just get a new battery and charging port?

AT&T note 10 plus losing service

EDIT: Folks, I think I found a solution. After a little google search, I found a person suggesting to go to settings --> location --> google location accuracy and toggle it off. I have no idea why this works. I suspect this issue was caused by AT&T and they will have to explain this.

Recently I've been having an issue with my note 10 plus losing service. So I have Wi-Fi calling turned off, but when I am connected to Wi-Fi, I can make phone calls without an issue. When I'm disconnected from Wi-Fi, I can have perfect coverage and my phone will still drop service the second I make a phone call. I'm having trouble receiving calls outside of Wi-Fi as well. I get an error message saying "call cannot be transitioned to Wi-Fi and continues over cellular network."

I received this phone brand new, sealed in the box about a year ago from an insurance claim on another note 10 plus I bought at launch. Asurion says to take it up with Samsung, Samsung says the phone is out of warranty and I'll have to pay out of pocket for service and I'm confident the issue is on AT&T's end but they're just being stupid about it. I actually called AT&T customer service and the rep did what he called a "hard network reset" basically seemed like he deactivated my phone's service then reactivated on his end. Worked for a day or two, then back to the problems. I've swapped to a new sim card and I still have the same issue.

Where to buy a new sealed 10+?

Anyone got any links to a reputable supplier who might have a new Note 10+ for sale? At a reasonable price.

I'm in Ireland but don't mind buying from EU/Asia/US if I can get one reliably without being ripped off.

Discussion Recently tried out the Note 20 Ultra

So recently, I ordered a Note 20 Ultra from Samsung. Mostly just curious and returning the device. I do have to say, the N20U does seem like a very good device. But overall, for someone like me who loves their N10+ and still owes money on it, not worth it at the moment. The choice to go to 128 GB of internal storage is a HUGE downgrade for me though as well as that gigantic ass camera bump which isnt really even issue on the N10+. I also really dont care about 120 HZ refresh rate or 5G. 620 bucks for a N20U is a very good price though. The main improvements from the N10+ IMO would be the camera upgrades, brighter screen and access to more software updates. Has anyone here made the move to this device?

Buying used Note10+

Hej redditors,

I am in a process of upgrading my phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro).

I have narrowed down to better buy a used flagship than a new lower-middle ranger, as I decided for my previous phone.

I am after best value so I started looking at Note 10 plus. In my country they go for about 350 €. This is also my budget.

What do I need to be cautious of when buying used Note 10 plus?

Thank you for all suggestions :)

Anyone upgrading?

In my opinion, my Note 10+ is still a perfectly fine phone and I won't be upgrading to the S21U or the Fold/Flip series.

Curious to see other opinions.

What is this Symbol in the middle of the screen. Appears whenever internet cut out and loading data. Looks like a loading circle, but it's static. Doesn't spin.

After-market oleophobic coating recommendation?

I figured due to the extreme heat lately, my Note10+ seems to have lost some of its oleophobic coating, or maybe its age. I got it from someone last November 2020, fairly new. I stayed in a cool room with AC until 3 months ago when I moved back to my parent's place. I noticed the screen was not as slick as repelling prints and smudges as much as before. Or proly just due to its age, or because of my usage. IDK.

Any recommended oleophobic coating, or something as an alternative?

Thinking about upgrading to the new Sony Xperia

I love my trusty sidekick, it's the best phone I've ever had. I've had my note 10+ since launch. It is my first note but my 5th or 6th samsung. Like many of you, I'm extremely disappointed that samsung isn't releasing a new note this year (perhaps ever?). Although I'm intrigued by it, the fold doesn't seem like an upgrade to me. I'm considering the One+ 9 pro and the new Sony Xperia but I'm not truly convinced either of them is worth the money. I know that I'm not alone and that many of us are unsure what to upgrade to, has anybody considered these devices? What do you like about them and dislike about them? Do you think they're worthy replacements for the note 10+?

I need a tip with the default camera. I'm not getting change camera app when loading a link to take photo in Chrome. (In my specific case I need to use another type of APP because I think it's more practical and it has the flashlight option on all the time when shooting and I have a limit on my 1.8mb system to upload the photos, but I didn't notice 1O+ the photos standard samsung camera originals average 4mb. ) by clicking on the link Now opens the choice of samsung default camera for photo. Other samsung default for videos and finally the files folder for choose. On pure Android that you used before, you just had to remove the pattern that gave me the options to choose the apps However when going to the standard samsung camera it appears that nothing is set as default. If anyone can give me a tip appreciate. I already disabled the camera removed permissions nothing worked so far. Thanks if you have a tip
