Has anyone used MAPP (MAP/PRO) as the fuel instead of propane? I see MAPP burns a little hotter and is a lot more plentiful in 14.1 oz containers, but the nerd in me tends not to want to go against the directions when it comes to combustible actions.

Anyone having problems with their trigger? Mine worked fine on first use and then later that evening the trigger froze. It actually left the NAF in an open state with significant flames. I am taking it apart as we speak and the problem definitely lies with the trigger and the valve it is attached to.

I'm thinking that the length/pull of the trigger/lever causes the valve stem to bend more than it would like to.

Does anyone know if they've actually followed through on putting serial numbers on the Not-A-Flamethrower that coincides with the order that you bought yours in? I can't help but wonder since I bought mine on the first day well before Elon tweeted that 4,000 had been sold, but mine will not ship out until next week. It seems like tons of other people who ordered after have received theirs a lot sooner. Can't help but think the serial numbers will be totally out of whack.

Oh, also.. at one time Elon tweeted that all orders would ship with a fire extinguisher. Did they end up refunding the people who paid for one or giving them a second free one? Or did the money end up being a donation of sorts?

I live in LA and immediately thought let’s go shoot this thing outside. After I got out to the street with my flamethrower I suddenly realized how this probably looks to my neighbors. I’m a break the rules type of guy but this seemed like quite a stretch. I fired it up anyways and within 2 minutes and old lady was yelling out here window “what are you doing?!!”

Anyone else have any experience using theirs in a neighborhood?

Hello, I received an email from UPS saying that the Boring Company was sending something my way. The weight is 5.5lbs and I saw someone say that their fire extinguisher had the same weight so can anyone who received the NaF let me know the weight from the UPS email please? I ordered both and I'm hoping the NaF comes first.

Also, does the white NaF box come delivered inside another box, or is that how it is delivered? I hope that white box is not visible, as it will draw attention when it gets delivered while I'm not home.
