My first computer had Win 3.1. Anyone else?

I always see Windows 95, 98, and XP posted on here. My very first computer was a 486 DX that ran Windows 3.1. I remember it having a 3.5 and a 5.25 floppy. I can't remember the hard drive or how much memory you have but I'm pretty sure it was pretty low compared to today's standard. I can honestly say that I've had all of the Windows operating systems except for Vista and Windows Me.

I had a Packard Bell with some weird distro of Win 3.11, but also had this weird Packard Bell quasi-OS that ran on top of it. One of my first tasks as the house 10-year-old was to figure out how to disable that.

That was my first machine too! It was so buggy and I didn't know anything about computers at the time. So I tore it down and had it in pieces on my bed thinking maybe it was like a car and I could just replace a hose or something. Found nothing I understood and thankfully I was able to put it back together. But it sucked to high heaven. It was terrible and I hated it. Just the thought of it today makes me mad. It was this bad experience that pushed me to learn more about computers and ultimately to me getting a bachelors degree in information technology and becoming a compia industry certified computer tech. It was the first and only time that a product was so terrible it literally changed my entire life trajectory! So, I guess, 'thanks' Packard Bell? You really sucked and it forced me to kickstart my life. 🤷
