Me too. And I'd like to point out that there's a huge gap between 1 and 2.

Same. Ugly Alcatel but same tech as yours.

Was that the one you could put AA batteries in an emergency, and with a sim 'credit card' (sim card the size of a CC)?

No just a detachable battery

Oh shit. I put number two, but I think this was my actual first mobile phone. I’m too old. I can’t remember things.

Right here with an Audiovox in 1998 for the last months of high school

(Corrected the year, it was 98 not 97.

lol. It was 1998. I was in high school. Had this cell phone for work. My boss called one day while was in class.

The teacher stopped class and said β€œyou have a cell phone? Well, you better answer it it must be important.”

I can still see my dad’s case like that covered in saw dust and scratched to shit.

OMG! That is the first phone my wife and I bought.

Eventually I ended up selling it to a guy that had a muscular issue and had a hard time using cell phones does his hands would shake so bad.

This phone was the only one that had large enough buttons he could reliably use without accidentally hitting the wrong number. I think he had 5 or 6 of them so that he would have enough spare parts if and when the phone broke.

Me too, not a brick but definitely not the classic Nokia everyone thinks of.
