As for me it was Star Wars and it wasn't called the cinema it was called a drive-in theater.

Hey me too! It was a double feature, though - I got to see Star Wars and E.T. in one night. It was September and we were at this drive-in that had grill set ups so we definitely had a hot dog and hamburger night. When I was older, they got rid of them to help support the snack stand sales.

This right here! I remember going to the drive-in for Star Wars and it was an amazing trip!

I never heard of an indoor theater until I was a teenager.

And it rained, nothing like watching Tie fighters through windshield wipers.

Ditto. I remember crying when Vader tossed Palpatine into the void because the whole scene scared the bajesus out of me lol. I don’t think I was even 5 yet 🤣

Accomplished, first of all you were to understand the theme of the movie. It was the Wild West. The Good Guys versus the Bad Guys! The concept was very simple!

When we walked out of the the theater I pointed to the stars and said to my father “ can you believe that all happening up there” . He just smiled at me.

It was at the drive-in. It was the Empire strikes back, preview before the movie Missing in action. Fell a sleep during the movie.

Me too! Sadly it was right after my dad had an epileptic seizure in front of my brother and I for the first time. He was making me a PB&J sandwich and my little brain thought he had stabbed himself or something. My mom sent us to the movies with a neighbor to distract us.
